HOW TO WRITE A BLOG……

Blogs nowadays are the most widely used way to share our views online in a systematic format. Through blogs we can publish our opinions, present factual information’s, share our creative works like poems, essays, stories etc. Blogs nourish our writing skills and gives us platform for presentation of our creative work. Today a large number of online users utilise different blog sites for above purposes.
Before starting a blog we should know certain necessary things to make the blog more knowledgeable, attractive and informative. The most important part of any blog is what you have to say and how you say it. People will return to your blog not only if they like the specific subject but also your writing style. With that in mind, your blog should be written in a tone appropriate to your blog topic. You should write the content keeping in mind the type of readers you want to attract. Set your target readers.eg-if you are writing for tips to crack JEE you need not to describe about how to choose a stream as they have already chosen PCM.
Before you even write anything, you need to pick a topic for your blog post. The topic can be pretty general to start with. Your blog's title is found at the top of your blog and is usually the first impression visitors to your blog get. Therefore title should be attractive and something on which your whole blog revolves.
Write a beautiful intro to grab the reader’s attention. If you lose the reader in few paragraphs or starting sentences of introduction, they will stop reading or they will read it superficially which surely you don’t want. Hence you can start with some joke, taunt or be empathetic or start with some interesting quotes or facts.
Then describe the purpose of the post and explain how it will address a problem the reader may be having. This will give the reader a reason to keep reading and give them a connection to how it will help them improve their work.
Whether you are linking to other blogs or websites that contain great information or linking to past posts on your own site, do it whenever you can. This will help not only increase your clicks but also help with your blog’s search engine rankings
Always organise the information so that readers are not intimidated by length of the content. Hence divide the content into paragraphs and lists and do not write long paragraphs as it will be hard to digest for readers.eg-you are writing on ‘bullet train in India’ then divide it into different sub headers like history of bullet train, project facts, advantages of bullet train in India, disadvantages, ideas for solution to the problems etc.
Always research properly before writing the blog as more informative content will attract more readers. Use the quotes, short stories, poetry lines wherever possible but it should have reference to the lines before and after it or it should not be irrelevant. After select outlines or templates before writing .The content should be such that each line has some connection with previous one except when starting some new fact or paragraph.
Sometimes reader is having trouble staying focused, so wherever it's possible to use multimedia content to break up the blog post and re-engage your reader, add images, videos, audio recordings, and social media posts. Changing up the format of your blog post will provide additional value to your reader while making sure their eyes are focused on what they're reading and seeing.
When you're ready to wrap up and sign off, make sure to let your reader know the article is closing. Your conclusion doesn't need to be lengthy, but it should serve to recap the blog post the reader just finished and provide more resources and guidance, if wanted.
Finish your conclusion with a meaningful call to action (CTA) for your reader -- whether it's advice, a content offer, or a link to another related blog post. Use the last lines of your post to leave the reader feeling like he or she learned something from you -- On a blog post, for example, the CTAs could be ‘read more articles’, ‘sign up for the newsletter’, ‘support or become a sponsor’, ‘share on social media’, etc
After writing the conclusion share it on your social media accounts so that number of readers can be increased.
